History of Department

The department of Hindi was established in 1964 .The College started with B. A. B. Com. and B.Sc. courses. Hindi is an optional subject for the arts faculty. The Department of Hindi aim is awareness about national language in the students and people. Courses offered- UG/ PG

Strength

• Dr. Sunil Bapu Bansode Head of Hindi Department is the BOS member of Shivaji University
• Chairman of the Shivaji vidyapeet hindi pradhyapak parishad.
• Convenor of P. G. cource and vice Principal JCJ

Objectives:

• To awareness about national language in the students and people.
• To reach the hindi . language in the world
• To introduce the learners to the major forms of literature
• To give guidencec for hindi writing,.

Vision

• Vision of the department is to develop employment opportunities with the help of Hindi language

Future Plans

1. To organize National Level Seminar/conference/workshop.
2. To organize a webinar.
3. To organize national level Hindi Elocution Competition.
4. To establish Hindi Club with following activities-

• Essay Writing Competitions.
• Elocution Competitions.
• Poetry Recitation Competition
• Poster Presentation Competition.
• Celebration of Anniversaries of great heroes and writers.
• Exhibition of wallpapers.

5. To Create specific E-content matter for students
6. To undertake Major Research Project
7. To publish two Research papers yearly by faculty.
8. To arrange at least two Guest lecturers yearly.
